When did I become Kim Kardashian at the beach?

I tried to lay out in the sun today to get a little bit of color. Alas, I happened to fall asleep for twenty minutes. I woke up and looked fine. Half an hour later everywhere from my neck down is burnt. Now I know how Kim Kardashian felt when all she wanted to do was get a little more tan.

I also got a ton of water in my ears. I'm actually pausing between sentences of this entry to try new remedies that I find on the internet. I can't believe I actually just hopped up and down and violently shook my head to the side.

IT'S JUST SO FRUSTRATING.

ALL I WANT TO DO IS SIT DOWN AND READ THE NEW ISSUE OF ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY. Instead I have to put a couple drops of rubbing alcohol in my ear!

It's the summer of blogging!

Why hello! I haven't blogged in while, I've been busy. Actually that's not true. I've just been forgetting to log onto blogger before I go to bed every night. But I do remember to watch an episode of Bug Juice and the Catwoman trailer on Youtube...so clearly I have my priorities straight.

I'll try to blog more, I REALLY WILL. Lately I've been wishing someone would do YouTube vlogs about new magazines they bought. I would but I just spent $4.49 on Zac Efron's cover of People Magazine so I'm out of money.

I guess I'll leave you saying that you should see Toy Story 3. I feel so bad for the people in the UK that have to wait a month. It made me cry but out of happiness. I'm gonna go see it again tomorrow and I will cry harder. I'm guessing walking out of the theater will go something like this:

Shocker! I'm getting apathetic towards magazines

There was something about my first issue of Vogue Magazine, the September 2009 issue, that brought me to my knees. It made me form a love affair with magazines and the fashion, photography, models, and ads that they were composed of.

Lately it's changed. I no longer am completely overcome with excitement when I pick up a new issue of Vogue (or any other magazine, for that matter). Maybe it's because i've become more comfortable with who I am...in that I don't have to really hide my love for magazines any longer.

Maybe it's because I preview all of the eds on The Fashion Spot before I buy the magazine. Come to think of it, that may be it. When I bought my first Vogue, I didn't know who was on the cover until I saw it at Barnes and Noble that day. Now I know almost every photo, model, and photographer included in this month's issue.

Okay...maybe I should have thought this post through more because now I realize that I should just stop checking The Fashion Spot so much. I'll report back!

The status of le blog

Oh boy. This blog looks like shit right now. I'll try to make it a project to re-design and clear out old and badly formatted posts.

I like blogging and talking to new people who share interests with me so i'll keep working on it.

EDIT: New header and I deleted a post to make everything look a little better. Any and all layout suggestions are welcome from anyone who happens to come across this blog (Hello. How are you?)

Will be posting more soon about summer, movies, magazines, fashion, art, cityscapes, venereal diseases, Nikon cameras, and Barbara Walters soon.

Wait a minute...one of those things in that list should NOT be there. BARBARA WALTERS!

Why were magazines so much better 10 years ago?

I'm making a list of old magazines that I desperately want:

(I think this next one will get cut off so click here to see the full image

If you happen to HAVE one of these issues and it's taking up too much of your space and you want to sell it, you know who to contact!
